The questions covered 33 specific jobs. The most asked here, each with its own post:

The question underneath all of them

“Which HVAC company in 33781 has the reviews, and what will the visit cost?” Answers here weighed where each HVAC company was located, its Google review volume and its dealer status, then asked about fees and sizing.

What your Pinellas Park HVAC page has to explain

Most HVAC questions here named 33781. Answers often said a company was located right in that ZIP code, then named others from Largo, St. Petersburg and Clearwater. Some warned that a company’s online ZIP checker did not recognize 33781. A Pinellas Park HVAC page should list every ZIP code you serve, so the customer can find theirs.

Review volume and dealer status came up far more often here than in HVAC answers elsewhere. Assistants compared companies by how many Google reviews they had, and noted when one was an authorized dealer for a major equipment brand. Some still said they could not verify ratings. A page should link to current reviews and say which brands you sell and service.

For replacements, answers told customers to ask for a load calculation rather than a like-for-like swap, and to get the model, price and warranty in writing. For repairs, they asked for the diagnostic fee and any after-hours charge. Some mentioned a Pinellas Park mechanical permit for zoning work. The page should explain how each of these is handled.

By assistant: Claude in 161 of its 456, ChatGPT in 15 of its 545 and Google AI Mode in 3 of its 312. As we asked it, Claude usually says what it couldn’t confirm; ChatGPT and Google AI Mode seldom do, so these counts mostly show what Claude couldn’t find. Most often:

  • A phone number or other way to reach the company: 92 answers
  • Reviews it could check: 43 answers
  • When the company could do the work: 30 answers
  • A license or insurance it could check: 22 answers
  • A price or how the job is priced: 22 answers
  • Whether the company serves the customer’s town or ZIP code: 11 answers
  • A warranty: 3 answers

Compared with the larger towns: Claude said it couldn’t confirm something in 161 of its 456 answers about Pinellas Park (35%), and couldn’t confirm that any company served Pinellas Park in 11 (2%). In the eight largest towns we studied, those figures were 39% and 4% for HVAC.

Pinellas Park HVAC answers most often lacked a phone number, followed by reviews and timing. A page with a working number, linked Google reviews and usual response times covers those.

I didn't find a phone number, so check their site.

Where the assistants sent people

Each answer linked to the pages the assistant relied on. Of the 1,001 ChatGPT and Claude answers about HVAC work in Pinellas Park, FL, this is how many linked at least once to each kind of site:

  • A contractor’s own website: 96% (957 answers)
  • A directory or review site such as Yelp, Angi or the BBB: 53% (534 answers)
  • A manufacturer or home-improvement guide: 27% (268 answers)
  • An official license lookup: 5% (53 answers)
  • A Google search or Maps page: under 1% (3 answers)

A contractor’s own website was the page linked most often, so your site is usually what the customer is sent to read.

Google AI Mode works differently. In 61% of its 312 answers, the links opened Google’s own listing for a business rather than a website. There, your Google Business Profile is the page the customer sees, so it needs the same facts as your site.

Going further: let assistants see real openings

For an urgent job, “open now” doesn’t answer the customer’s real question: can the right technician get to this address within the next few hours?

Merchant Context builds custom integrations with scheduling software so customers and AI assistants can read your current availability. Where your system records the job type, service area, duration and crew capacity, the integration can show those details with each opening, so an assistant can match it to the request instead of guessing.

We scope each connection to the software and data you actually have. A displayed opening is not a confirmed booking: the customer still confirms through your normal booking process, and the information is only useful while it is fresh.

Questions owners ask

Should my Pinellas Park HVAC page say which brands I install?

Many answers here noted when a company was an authorized dealer for a brand, and told customers to confirm it services theirs. Naming the brands you install and repair answers that question on the page.

What do Pinellas Park answers ask about a new AC system?

They told customers to ask for a load calculation, not a swap of the old size. They also said to get the model, total price and parts and labor warranty in writing. Some asked whether the permit and ductwork are included.

Do AI answers look at Google review counts for Pinellas Park HVAC companies?

Often. Answers here compared companies by how many Google reviews they had, not only the rating. Some could not verify reviews and told customers to check. Linking to current reviews on the page lets a customer do that quickly.

How we got these numbers

The questions, counts and quotes on this page come from the 1,313 answers ChatGPT, Claude and Google AI Mode gave between September 2 and October 14, 2026. Every question named Pinellas Park or one of its ZIP codes. We collected them with software rather than the consumer apps, which can answer differently. We counted what each answer mentioned, what it said it couldn’t find and where it linked. Quotes never name a business.

The study figures come from an earlier set of assistant conversations in July and August 2026 across eight trades, coded for the reason each business was included or left out. Counts overlap and are never added together.
